Stave & Bean – PEERLESS RYE BARREL AGED HONDURAN
Our Honduran beans come from Cafe De Mi Pueblo. Since 1850 the beans have come from the Rodriguez Tercero family which is now run by the family’s children and grandchildren. The barrel is a Double Oak Rye barrel from Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company, bringing such unique flavor notes. It was first hand selected by The Adventures Club in Chicago out of their single barrel program before making its way to our beans. The beans have been put in the barrel and aged to perfection in Kentucky rick houses. Once the aging is completed, they are taken to local coffee shop, Quills Coffee, and roasted to a medium roast to ensure the best flavor profile.
