Breakfast of Champions – Coach Dan McDonnell
Rise and Shine, Champions!
We are thrilled to have UofL Baseball Coach Dan McDonnell help us kick off 2026 at the Breakfast of Champions!
For Coach McDonnell’s 19 seasons here, UofL Baseball is ranked 4th in the nation for wins and has participated in 15 NCAA tournaments and six College World Series. During his tenure he has seen 111 of his players selected in the MLB – including LA Dodger Will Smith, who hit the game-winning run in this year’s World Series. And UofL Baseball has continued to thrive even as the NIL is increasingly changing the face of college sports – even reaching the bracket final in the 2025 College World Series.
Coach McDonnell’s wisdom and passion have catalyzed team members to achieve extraordinary things not just on the diamond, but also in the classroom and across the community. He will share great stories, insights on NIL and the future of college sports, some secrets of success that can be applied to all facets of life. It will be a great way to start and “Win the Day!”
Enjoy this timely discussion and the chance to mix with other local business and community leaders. It will be a great start to your day! A delicious breakfast spread will be provided by the Louisville Thoroughbred Society.
